Title:10 Best and 10 Worst Hands to Start with in Texas Hold'em
Story:If Texas Holdem has its 10 best starting hands, it also has its 10 worst card combinations that all the poker players should always try not to have. As the most popular game variation of poker, many people find themselves, especially all those serious casino players out there, obliged to learn the different aspects and fundamental elements of the game. After years of research and study, poker experts and game observers have come up with a concise list of the worst starting hands in the game. To keep winning in poker, players need to avoid such starting hands if they want to win more games and save more money from being lost.

At the top spot of the list of the 10 worst starting hands in Texas Holdem are the 2-7 hole cards, especially if they are unsuited. One of the many reasons why such hand is bad is the fact that there is really nothing that can me made out of it. Even straights are impossible to form in the 2-7 starting hand. Simultaneously, if such 2-7 hole cards are suited, players could only end up with low valued flushes. Another worse hand to have at the beginning of a Texas Holdem game is the 2-8 starting hand, which shares a lot in common with the previous hand, with the only difference being the 8 card instead of a 7.

The third worst hand in Texas Holdem belongs to the 3-7 and 3-8 starting hands, which also has lower values just like the previous two hands. At the same time, the 3-8 hole cards cannot create any good hand possible. On the other hand, the 3-7 starting hand offers players a chance to form a straight, but a very low one at that with the 7 card being the highest within the sequence. In the meantime, the fourth worst starting hand is comprised of the 2-6 hole cards. One bad thing about this is that players have a very high odds of losing whenever they get such card combination at the start of any Texas Holdem game.

The fifth worst Texas Holdem starting hand belongs to the 2-9, 3-9, and 4-9 hole cards, because they give players very little chances to win over their opponents. If ever players come up with a pair of nine, their next pair would be much lower, making them vulnerable against higher valued pairs within the process. The sixth worst starting hand in the game is the 2-10, obviously because of the large gap between the two numbers, making them impossible to connect especially when unsuited. The seventh worst hand belongs to the 5-9, because according to records, this hand has a very low odds of bringing players to victory.

The eighth worst hand that Texas Holdem players should avoid to play winning poker includes the 3-6, 4-7, 4-8, and 5-8. Players who can get any of these starting hands own a recipe for disaster. Experts believe that any of these should be folded, specifically when they are unsuited. The ninth worst starting hand in Texas Holdem is the combination of face cards and low cards, especially when they are unsuited due to the large gap between the two cards. The tenth worst Texas Holdem hand is the unsuited combination of any ace with any of the low cards, because it only gives players a very low chance of winning.
