This weekend Major Wright is supposedly making his official to ND. His coach was a big proponent for this visit by Major Wright. Two former teammates are on the Notre Dame squad and this may help with his comfort level in South Bend. Young and Wenger can show him all their experiences and things they do in South Bend and possible swing a commitment from Major Wright.

Major had a great visit at OSU. He stated he didn't want to leave Ohio and wanted to stay. This is not a good sign. Another thing which is not good for ND is , the wide receiver coach on his high school team is Cris Carter, OSU alumni. You don't think Cris is putting any thougths into his noggin. Then when he went to Florida he stated that it was OK and that Florida was second to OSU. OSU lose in the Championship may open up his mind to other schools. Hopefully after this visit he is more impressed with ND. When Major Wright was in South Bend last time it didn't seem like he was having a good time and was just not impressed. Weis better draw up some ideas. He is announcing the hiring of Corwin Brown today. This will be key in our recruiting of Major Wright. Corwin Brown could earn alot of respect from the ND fan base if he can get Major to commit to Notre Dame by NSD. Major is good enough to start at safety next year. I will a knockout count if and when he comes to Notre Dame. Weis announces Brown and hands him his first recruit and it is Major, Wright!
