Jake Golic, a TE prospect, commited 2 seconds after being offered by Charlie Weis. I think this was a move of getting someone who is 100% commited to the program to be able to talk to recruits and get them quicker on board. The Blue and Gold game is coming up here soon and who better to talk to other recruits then a recruit of your own. He will of course blend in with the current players since his older brother Mike Golic Jr is apart of the class of 2008 and was also the first commitment. Father, Son, and other Son, first commitment of their respective class. Welcome aboard!]
