Brandon Newman commited today(5/26) with his parents, high school coaches, and soon to be coaches all around. He is what the doctor order for the nose guard position in Corwin Brown's 3-4 scheme. I think he will be a nice addition to the line and will be able to come in and compete with the void we have on the DL.

This was not really a suprise to Irish fans due to recent rumblings and frequent visits to Braxton Cave's House near Notre Dame. It was more along the lines of when he will commit rather then will he commit. Huge get and great for ND defense which is getting a Corwin overhaul!
