I was listening to some sports shows before the game and most were saying that Air Force was going to pull of an upset. When you hear people saying ND is going to lose, you stomach starts to turn It hurts until they are winning. You never know what is going to happen when you are THE GAME on an opponent's schedule. Notre Dame went up 20-3 really quick helped calm my nerves. I was sitting at my computer trying to use http://www.viidoo.comto watch the game but got cut off right before the game started. I guess a whole flood of people jumped on to watch the game. So I listened to the game off the http://www.und.com website, since I could not get anything off of http://www.ndfootballradio.com. I was just happy to hear the game.

Brady Quinn starts the game by completing two passes to Samardzija at the beginning of the game. The quick touchdown easied my nerves real quick. Carlson had a nice TD grab in the corner of the end zone. Has anything come of of how he got injured? Mcknight makes a nice grab and slips a defender off his back just like a T-shirt! Trevor Laws had a block FG after Air Force drove the whole way down the field. The Blocked FG was picked up by Lambert and the brigade starts down the field for a TD. Freeman makes a nice grab between two defenders for the TD. Awesome catch for a TD. Air Force goes nuts after completing a pass on 4th down. The ND defense was looking for a run on 4th, but Air Force got tricky and threw a pass for a TD! 33-10. Walker had a nice 39 yard scamper after zigging in and out of the AF defense. He gets caught from behind. I would like to see D. Walker take one to the house from the 50 yard line or farther. Hey, I love D. Walker because he secures the ball, has great hands, and rarely fumbles. When D.Walker bust a long run...I shave my chest and my head. Got close...38 yards. Walker ends the drive with a nice run up the gut on the draw.

Keys to the Game:
--Burkhart kickoffs were excellent. He was kicking the ball deep and not allowing for any return.
--Trevor Laws did it again--Blocking another Field Goal Try.
--Little Mental Mistakes...Started to get really sloppy in the 4th quarter. Air Force became a passing team.
--Ndukwe had a hell of a game. 15 solo tackles. 7 assisted tackles. He had several more on plays which were penalized. He had a hell of a day and was MVP on the Defense.
--ND Held Air Force to around 200yards on the ground. --1 of 4 on 4th down conversions for Air Force and one went for a TD due to it being 4th and 1 and ND thinking it will be run!
--Defense looked like they were tired. Offense was scoring to quick and Defense was on the field to long. One played which hurt was when T. Laws had an accidental face mask. The penalty kept the Defense on the field when they should have been walking off the field.
--Charlie Weis was switching in a lot of second string people on the defense. I love to see that!
--What was up with the 3 blocked extra points against us. I was not happy and if I am not happy Charlie is probably not happy either!
